I acquired Rotten the fall of his 2 year old year. He had 30 days of training when I got him and that is where he got his name "Johnny Rotten." John Lemon was the owner and because of his temperament the trainer gave him the name. Over time it has been shortened to Rotten even though we feel he has grown out of his name. His attitude totally changed when we gave him a job. His second ride here we were gathering cows at the end of a long day it was like he said "Oh, Now I understand why we are doing all this." He has Since then I have won ropings, ranch rodeos and wild cow milking events on him. Including 2 saddles, many buckles and ZD Ropings $5000 Big Buck Roping. Drake has competed on him in 4H and is now Zeek's "Go to" ranch horse.
