IL

I picked IL up the end of October from Gunnison Prison. That's where he went after we gathered him off the Owyhee desert, Northwest of Elko in July. Cattoor's hire me to help on gathers when they are a little short handed so I picked IL and the Sorrel Owyhee when they came in the trap. In November, training was a little hit and miss. Since Thanksgiving I've ridden IL about everyday. He was a supper sweet personality. You can tell when he is excited to go somewhere because he walks like he's going to a water hole. He's a real athlete.

Silver King

Silver King has a real easy going personality. He came from Silver King NV in the Fall of 2010. I love his Disposition. It hasn't been that long since he was gathered, yet he is really mellow with new things. He has a super long trot and walks out real good. When he is full grown and filled out he'll be a big horse.

Scotch

We picked up Scotch Thanksgiving Week. There were several hundred horses in one pen and Scotch walked right up to me and let me Scratch his head. I had picked 2 different horses but we couldn't get one of them separated and there was Scotch left in the pen. So we took him home.
He turned out to be quite a bit more challenging than we had originally thought. He is the kind of horse that is a lot quieter on his back than on the ground. He has a lot of feel in his face and sides. he is really fun to lope. He already guides around and is SMOOTH!
He'll be an awesome horse but will probably need some one who can ride a bit to finish him out.
